PHARSES II SHIPWRECK

This open decked, twin hatched cargo ship of less than 1000 tons is lying on its starboard side and fully intact. It went down in a storm in 1980 when the cargo shifted, so it is still very well preserved. An abundance of marine life can be observed here. Penetration can be achieved although under strict supervision. Lying 800 metres away but in the direct path of the entrance to Limassol Port you will always hear the sound of passing ships as they come and go. Maximum depth is 21 metres.
